One of the most unique Japanese Maple bonsai trees available. The Japanese Mikawa Yatsubusa Maple features a tighter foliage cluster. If kept in sunny warm climates, leaves may burn slightly. Japanese Maple bonsai trees, or Acer Palmatum, are highly prized as bonsai due to their unique leaves. Japanese Maple Bonsai trees are deciduous and will lose all of their leaves during winter. Japanese green maple bonsai tree is aged 3-4 years old and arrives in a 6" ceramic bonsai pot. Pot may vary depending on availability. Tree measures 10" - 12" tall potted.
Japanese maple trees are easy to take care of. However, due to their deciduous nature, we recommend them for intermediate and advanced enthusiasts. During the hotter months, leaf burn may occur for this species of maple. Trees may arrive with some leaf burn which is a normal process of growth and leaf rotation.
