On Saturday, September 23rd, Eastern Leaf had the opportunity to hold a free kids bonsai workshop at the San Diego Friendship Garden and the San Diego Bonsai Club. It was lead by our founder and president, Jason Chan. The kids had a chance to learn how to wire a juniper bonsai and put it into a bonsai pot. The trees went fast but lots of kids were able to go home with a free potted bonsai. We'll be back in Spring for San Diego Bonsai Club Spring show!
